Christine Achieng

Christine joined the Firm as an Associate under the finance, banking and Conveyancing department. She has been exposed to various assignments in legal advisory, securities law (banking & finance), corporate and commercial aspects as well as litigation which areas she has developed in-depth expertise in.

She is primarily involved in legal advisory, undertaking due diligence assignments, legal and compliance audits, perfection of securities and realization of the same for over five of our commercial/financial institutions where she serves as the focal point thereof.

She has guided, advised and rendered consultancy services to some of our corporate and individual Clients on a number of aspects covering general legal and transactional practice.

She is engaged in research and document preparation on the intricate legal issues in the arena of civil, domestic and corporate and Land litigation. Her focus is therefore inclined to legal advisory, securitization and transaction advisory, due diligence among many others.

Christine started out as a Legal/Research Assistant at private practice at M/s Ouma & Co. Advocates, a distinguished private Law Firm in Jinja, where she was exposed to various assignments of a general nature and has since gained a profound experience in legal practice at the Firm.

Her attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks make her a valuable member of the firm’s team.

Christine is a Practicing Advocate of the High Court of the Republic of Uganda and subordinate Courts thereto.
